Hillsborough Heights Village in Mount Roskill, Hibiscus Coast Village in Red Beach and Longford Park Village in Takanini are all owned and operated by Private Life Care Holdings Limited. Private Life Care Holdings Ltd is part of an investment fund known as Retirement Villages Group that is managed by Macquarie Group in Sydney. Retirement Villages Group controls a large portfolio of retirement villages in New Zealand and Australia.

The parent entity is an experienced, specialised retirement village investor.
